For players six years of age or younger. Skill development including:

  • teaches basic hockey skills so players can enjoy the game
  • assists in development and enhancement of basic motor programs
  • develops and encourages the concept of team through player participation in on and off-ice activities
  • implements fitness, fair play and co-operation aspects within the fun of the game

U9

For players seven and eight years of age. Half-ice program and skill development including:

  • edge control
  • backward skating
  • moving puck control
  • moving passing and receiving
  • wrist shot
  • offensive play
  • defensive play

  • 10% Team tactics

U11

For players nine and 10 years of age. Skill development including:

  • balance and agility
  • edge control
  • starting and stopping
  • skating (forward and backward)
  • turning and crossovers
  • stationary and moving puck control and passing/recieving
  • shooting
  • individual offensive and defensive play
  • team play
  • 50% Technical skills
  • 20% Individual tactics

U13

For players 11 and 12 years of age.
